I walk into the forest along the gnarly loch-side path.
Most of the leaves have fallen now – we’ve had that first frost – but I spy something golden and bright at the end of the tunnel.
I run towards it.
And I go right in.
Back against the trunk…
Look up:
And breathe…

Beautiful pictures, Ailish.
Thanks, Tim 🙂
You’re welcome, Ailish.
Wonderful – felt myself breathing along with you.
I’m glad you liked 🙂 It was a peaceful moment.
Beautiful. Is it an alder? I love to stand under trees and look up like that, too.
It’s a beech. Gazing up through the branches is such a calming practice. I’m glad you enjoy it too 🙂
